PORTRAITS
My reason for becoming a photographer is very similar to why I chose to become a musician; I enjoy sharing emotional art with others. This fact still rings very true today; just now with a camera in-hand rather than a trumpet.
Portrait photography could easily be compared to being a performance. You're showing off the best version of yourself for a brief moment in time. Allow me to give you your stage.
Why Jack?
Why choose me as your music portrait photographer?
Background
Before picking up a camera, I spent 10 years playing trumpet. Although you probably wouldn't want to hear me play now, I've lived a musical life.
Style
My portrait photography has a style, everyone's does. Chance are, you like what you've seen. If not, I have amazing friends with a different eye than I!
Communication
Being able say and understand things like "sickled foot" and "stick heights" can be very beneficial in this line of work. Details matter.

You. In A Photo.
Collaborative.
Let's find something that you want to do, in a place you want to do it, and do that. If you're looking for outdated poses with paint cloth backgrounds, I'm not your guy. After all, the end goal is for you to enjoy the portrait photography process and appreciate the end product.
